This product utilizes a drop and lock feature that makes this a super easy install that works with both large and small flange pattern Samurai T-cases. Simply drop in the lock, spin it under the pins and screw the oil sealing cup in.
Injected molded rubber boot for the transfer case mimics the design of your original rubber boot.   It even uses the same c-clip to hold it in place (we have these available if you've lost yours).   Others use some crazy "home-made" system to keep water and dirt out of your expensive t-case.  We've seen gloves strapped on there.  Condoms.    Big baggy vinyl contraptions.   YUCK!

NOTE: The detent ball between the shifter rails must be removed for this kit to function.   This means that, even though installing these shifters is as simple as "drop-n-lock", you must still separate the case to remove this detent ball prior to installing this product.   For this reason, you may wish to consider adding a transfer case gasket and seal kit to your order to be prepared for the install.
