    REVISED PRODUCT - ENLARGED "IN" AND "OUT" PORTS TO -8
    Are you tired of guessing the fluid level of your Dodge G56 transmission?
    You know how much fluid is in the transmission when you replace it, but how can you check the level?
    This custom cover is designed to correct the fluid level on a Dodge G56 6 speed standard transmission.
    Fill to the bottom of the plug on the cover (top plug). This represents the correct fluid level for this transmission.
    Factory plug represents 6.5 qts, but you need 8 qts of fluid to cover the internal bearings.
    This item uses M10 x 1.5 x 25 Socket Head Cap Screws (not 3/8)
    AND....
    There are 3 ports on the bottom of the cover for adding a cooler or filter system.
    The "in" and "out" ports are for the fluid recirculating system, recently changed to larger -8 size.
    The center port (unlabeled) is for a temperature sensor or the magnetic plug.

    About the cover
    This billet cover is made by Trusted Design Services, LLC in Lakehills, TX.
    Made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum barstock.
    Bolt pattern complies with SAE J704 of Dec '92 (see pics) and uses M10 bolts.
    All oring ports are per SAE-J1926 (see pics).
    It is .850" thick and milled on every side to ensure perfect fit and function.
    Increases the fluid level PLUS 5 ounces due to the recess in the cover.
    Designed to raise the fluid level in the gearbox to ensure proper lubrication.
    When checking the lube level, set level at bottom of the fill plug hole.
    Please check for clearance in your application before purchasing.
