Made by the prestigious San Francisco maker Shreve and Company.  3 5/8 inches across by 9/16 inches tall in size.  Maker marked on the reverse side "SHREVE & CO".  There are two threaded posts on the reverse side with threaded "nuts" to attach this onto the railroad cap.
