    Description

    S.P. Co. Locomotive Fireman hat badge.
    Heavily embossed brass, nickel plated. A few surface scratches, curved to fit hat, two cut off bolts have been soldered to back side, custom cut thin piece of brass cut to match badge size and two old square nuts to hold it securely to hat, may have been modified to fit and stay on conductors style hat.
    Photos taken over a one inch grid. Badge measures 3 1/2 by 1 inch in size.
    In very good used long long ago original condition. This is not a reproduction.
    Came from the family of a fireman who used to live and work for the Southern Pacific right here in Sparks, Nevada.
    This will be the last one I will ever have for sale, unless the wife puts the one I kept for myself out at the yard sale for twenty five cents after I croak.
