Power Box 50

Description

The Power Box 50 contains a greater than 50 watt generator. As all K-Tor product it has a direct gear drive and regulating circuitry. It is designed to be compact and portable. It stores in a shipping box of 13 by 9 by 7 inches and has a unit weight of 5 lb. 6 oz and a shipping weight of under 7 lb. The output is a standard automotive 12 volt socket and is regulated to 14 volts, 3 amps. A connector from automotive male to alligator clips is included to enable direct connection to 12 volt batteries and direct charging. Accessories designed for 12 volt sockets such as 12 volt to USB and inverters will also work and are available from K-Tor for your convenience. The unit has many advanced features, the circuit board has in addition to voltage and current regulation electronic current limiting and thermal overload protection to protect against overload and accidental shorting.
The crank to shaft connection is an advanced square plug in square hole for high strength and a positive contact eliminating any slop or bang in pedaling. The cranks are advanced aluminum alloy for high strength and light weight.
Modifications to the regulation voltage and current are available upon request, such as 16.8 volts for direct charging of lithium four cell batteries of 24 volts for electric bicycle or other six cell lithium applications.
Substituting the included accessory for a different accessory such as the 12 volt to dual 3.1 amp USB are also available upon request.
