Description

11/16ths of an inch round in size.  Made in a base metal (brass) and gold plated.  Maker marked on the reverse side "B. PASQUALE S. FRAN. CAL.".  There are two bendy wires attached to the back for attachment to the right and left hand side of the cap.  These hold the chin strap to the railroad employee hat - Conductor, Engineer, Brakeman .. Etc.
