Its down to the thermal boundary they've installed on their dual lens configuration which acts as transition area between the inner and outer temperatures.
The NFX is designed for large sized faces and the Ionized lens is great for bright sunny conditions by adding definition and cutting glare. Supplied with a soft bag & bonus lens.
