    Description

    This listing is for one
9mm Squib Rod Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) up to 19" Barrel
by Hit Factor Shooting Supply, LLC.
This squib rod will fit well into the barrel, allowing the full force to be directed at the stuck squib (bullet). These rods are heavy enough that you may not need a hammer. Always resist the urge to use a hand sledge with this squib rod.  Be prepared, about the only other option is taking the carbine to a gunsmith.
Don't let a squib ruin your day at the range. Every USPSA, IDPA shooter, and Range Officer should have these in their kit.
Are you shooting the fastest growing
    segment
    of
    competitive
shooting? PCC is a hoot to shoot and growing fast!
Made using a soft steel that is 12% to 40% softer than Chrome-Moly 4140 and R400 Series Stainless barrels. The tip of the squib rod is concave to help keep the rod centered on the projectile. This rod is 'in the white'. The steel ball is threaded onto the rod and held in place with blue loctite.
Brass just isn't strong enough for this length of rod.
This squib rod works with 9mm/.357/.38/.40 and larger calibers, up to 19" barrel. The actual rod diameter is just under .330". The steel ball is 1" in diameter.
Please oil the rod after use and before storage.
A squib is caused when a bullet is fired from a cartridge that does not have gunpowder, just a primer. The primer is powerful enough to propel the bullet into the barrel, but not enough for the bullet to exit the barrel.

USPS First Class mail is so bad these days, consider Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx.
