    Description

    This is a huge ferrocerium rod. You get a solid grip on it to easily start your fire. It is one inch diameter and 10 inches long. The ferro rod weighs one pound and 13 ounces. Strike this rod with a rough 90 degree edge piece of steel, your favorite striker or the back of your knife and watch the globs of molten metal roll off the ferro rod. The sparks are 5,000 degrees F.
